The peculiarity of the Mirador is not only the privileged location of the restaurant in Granada, but also a gastronomic offer based on a simple menu with a very elaborate selection of seasonal raw materials that are made completely by hand, respecting traditional recipes but incorporating certain nods to modern cuisine that extol the dishes.
In the selection we find, depending on the season, proposals such as RAF tomato with avocado, artichokes from Granada with Iberian ham, oxtail in muscatel sauce, Bellota Iberian pork cooked at low temperature, almadraba red tuna from Barbate, grilled octopus, soup-like seafood rice, teriyaki salmon cooked at low temperature and typical Spanish recipes as Iberian ham croquettes or potato tortilla (we are always paying attention to the desired curdling point).
NON-STOP KITCHEN HOURS open from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. in winter and until 11:00 p.m. in summer.
The best pairing for this traditional cuisine is the successful selection of wines from a winery that has Denominations of Origin from all over Spain.
The perfect finish is a completely homemade pastry made daily for our customers, such as the creamy goat cheese with almond chocolate nougat and passion fruit mousse, the yogurt sponge cake, fabri amarena mousse with pears in red wine, the dark chocolate coulant filled with hazelnut praline and coconut ice cream, or the delicious «marron glacé» cake with milk chocolate and caramelized apples.
One of the hallmarks of the Mirador de Tato are its long after-meals, since having uninterrupted hours you can enjoy coffee (always 100% Arabica) and have the best drinks in Granada, while watching the sunset over the Cathedral and la Vega.
In spring and summer the restaurant is open from midday to midnight without interruption, being able to enjoy the mild temperature of the sunset and the pleasant cool breeze on summer nights. In winter, however, it closes after enjoying the sunset.
The service is also a hallmark of the house (and one of the aspects most valued by customers). A team made up of especially attentive young people who contribute a lot to the enjoyment of the gastronomy, the ample space and the spectacular views.
